     For resources to use in your classroom, I encourage you to look at my Symbaloo page on teaching which provides links to current classroom management strategies (red), innovative ways to use technology (purple) in the classroom and websites that pertain to the ELA content area (grey). 

     I recently conducted research on the theme of perseverance in literature and compiled my results and projects on the website http://rectorke.wix.com/perseverance. While the content of the paper will show you some of the connections that the theme has to literature, I would encourage you to also think about the ways you can have students represent that theme in a work of their own. The products on the site are of my own creation but could be easily replicated in the ELA classroom.
