Perseverance can be a great topic of discussion in the classroom!

Attached are a lesson plan using Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I have a dream" speech to discuss perseverance as well as a hand out on the book Enrique's Journey which was the basis of this project. The hand out includes a brief synopsis as well as ideas for teaching the book in the classroom.
